What you need to check
It is for renters with short-term trouble paying rent, for reasons such as a job loss, health problems, a big unplanned cost, or suddenly caring for someone. It is paid straight to your landlord and can last up to 2 years, or up to 4 years for people aged 25 or under. The amount depends on your income and situation. You must show why you are struggling.
