What you need to check

You need a Pensioner Concession Card or WA Seniors Card, and the home must be in the City of Perth. In 2026–27 pensioners can get up to $750 off, and Seniors Card holders up to $100. It can cover rates, the Emergency Services Levy and some rubbish charges. Apply on the Water Corporation’s rates concession form, which registers you with the Water Corporation and the City at the same time.

This is a short summary. Other rules may apply, like income or where you live. Check the full rules with the agency that runs it.
