What you need to check

This is for pensioners who own and live in their home. You need a Pensioner Concession Card. Some Veteran Gold Cards also count: those for seriously disabled veterans (marked TPI or EDA) and war widows. It covers homes supplied by Sydney Water, Hunter Water, Shoalhaven Water, Essential Water or a NSW private water scheme. If your council supplies your water, use the council rates rebate instead.

This is a short summary. Other rules may apply, like income or where you live. Check the full rules with the agency that runs it.
