What you need to check

Own and live in your home on the Northern Beaches? You can get up to $250 a year off rates and waste, the amount set by NSW law. The council’s pensioner rates policy may give some pensioners more. Check the current policy on the council’s website for amounts and who qualifies. You need a Pensioner Concession Card. Seniors Cards and Health Care Cards do not count. Apply on the council’s form.

This is a short summary. Other rules may apply, like income or where you live. Check the full rules with the agency that runs it.
