What you need to check

Without a rebate you pay the full market rent. You must apply after signing your lease and prove everyone’s income. You must apply again every 12 months, or when your income or household changes. If Centrelink is your only income, it can renew itself each year.

This is a short summary. Other rules may apply, like income or where you live. Check the full rules with the agency that runs it.
