What you need to check

The standard rate is 50% of the fare, up to $25 a trip. Wheelchair users get the same in an ordinary taxi, or 75% up to $35 in a wheelchair-accessible taxi. You must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident living in WA. You must have a severe or permanent disability that stops you using public transport, such as a mobility, vision (legally blind) or intellectual disability. Your income and any pension do not count. An independent occupational therapist assesses you. Apply online or with paper form ODT47, not both. A medical practitioner completes Part B, and you pay for that appointment. Email ondemandtransport@transport.wa.gov.au or post to GPO Box R1290, Perth WA 6844.

This is a short summary. Other rules may apply, like income or where you live. Check the full rules with the agency that runs it.
