What you need to check
It is for people who use medical equipment at home that a specialist says they need, such as oxygen machines, CPAP machines, feeding pumps and some dialysis machines. You also need a Pensioner Concession Card or Health Care Card. The Commonwealth Seniors Health Card does not count. The amount depends on the machine. A doctor must fill in part of the form. You renew each year.
This is a short summary. Other rules may apply, like income or where you live. Check the full rules with the agency that runs it.
