What you need to check

You need a Pensioner Concession Card, Health Care Card or Veterans’ Affairs Gold Card. If Synergy or Horizon Power bills you, ask them to add it. If another company bills you for power (for example a caravan park, apartment block or retirement village), apply to RevenueWA, the WA tax office. For that route a Commonwealth Seniors Health Card also counts. Renters applying that way must have lived there, or have a lease, for at least three months. If your landlord gets the Synergy or Horizon Power bill and passes the cost on, RevenueWA will not pay you; ask your landlord to put your card on their account.

This is a short summary. Other rules may apply, like income or where you live. Check the full rules with the agency that runs it.
