What you need to check
Public dental clinics give general, denture, specialist and emergency care. Adults with a Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card can use them, and so can their dependants. All children aged 0 to 12 can use them. Teens aged 13 to 17 can if they are on a concession card. Most people pay a small fee each visit, up to a set maximum. Some groups get free care. Some groups, such as children and pregnant women, get priority.
This is a short summary. Other rules may apply, like income or where you live. Check the full rules with the agency that runs it.
