What you need to check
Many people pay half the full fare on Victorian trains, trams and buses. This includes Health Care Card and Pensioner Concession Card holders, Victorian Seniors Card holders, Victorian Carer Card holders, full-time students, and veterans. Victorian Seniors, Carers and Disability Support Pension recipients also travel free on weekends. The concession is for the cardholder only. If you are listed on someone else’s card, you may be able to get a different concession. Your Health Care Card must show a Victorian address. You need a concession myki, or you can link your concession to a bank card or phone.
This is a short summary. Other rules may apply, like income or where you live. Check the full rules with the agency that runs it.
