What you need to check

TasEquip lends or supplies equipment to help with daily tasks at home, such as shower chairs, walking aids, hoists and wheelchairs. A therapist must prescribe it. You must have lived in Tasmania for over 4 months. You need a Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card. You cannot use it if you live in an aged care home. You also cannot use it if other funding covers you, such as the NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme), MAIB or workers compensation.

This is a short summary. Other rules may apply, like income or where you live. Check the full rules with the agency that runs it.
