What you need to check

Pensioner fees are lower for a full driver licence. A 5-year licence costs $74.00 instead of $140.64. A 1-year licence costs $26.96 instead of $40.68. People aged 65 or over do not pay a licence fee at all, only $13.24 for the licence card. If you can get a concession, fill in a concession form when you renew at Service Tasmania. Ask Service Tasmania which concession cards count.

This is a short summary. Other rules may apply, like income or where you live. Check the full rules with the agency that runs it.
