What you need to check

School Card helps pay school fees and the materials and services charge. Your child must be 4 or older and go to school full-time. Your family income must be under a limit. For one child at a government or Catholic school, the limit is $75,524 a year (2024–25 income). Each extra child raises the limit. Independent schools set their own limits. Some children on School Card in Year 7 or 10 get a free laptop or tablet. Their school must be in the program.

This is a short summary. Other rules may apply, like income or where you live. Check the full rules with the agency that runs it.
