What you need to check
Not every Centrelink or Veterans’ Affairs card counts, and full-time students need an approved student ID. Children under 5 travel free. SA Seniors Card holders travel free at all times. Use the official tool at sa.gov.au to check which card or student ID you need and how to apply.
This is a short summary. Other rules may apply, like income or where you live. Check the full rules with the agency that runs it.
