What you need to check

It is for people on low or fixed incomes. Someone in the home (you or your child) must have a medical condition that hot or cold weather makes much worse. A doctor must confirm this on the form. You must use an air conditioner at home, and you must pay all or part of the power bill. You also need an eligible concession card or Centrelink payment. You get this on top of the normal energy concession.

This is a short summary. Other rules may apply, like income or where you live. Check the full rules with the agency that runs it.
