unclaimd never asks for your myGov sign-in or bank details. The official site may ask for them, so check the address ends in .gov.au first. How to stay safe
What you need to check
The Territory Revenue Office holds money that NT companies could not pay for 3 years, such as deposits and dividends. It also holds unclaimed super for some former NT Government workers. There is no search box: download the register and look for your name. If you find money, fill in the claim form with certified ID and proof of your link to the company or super fund. Send it by email, post, or in person in Darwin. Phone 1300 305 353.
This is a short summary. Other rules may apply, like income or where you live. Check the full rules with the agency that runs it.
