What you need to check
Anyone aged 60 or over who lives in the NT for good can get it. The card lasts for life. Shops and businesses that join give you discounts. To get $55 off your private car registration (rego) each year, you must show the card at the Motor Vehicle Registry (MVR). It also gets you cheaper fares on most interstate public transport.
