What you need to check
It is for students from preschool to Year 12 at any NT school, government or private. Home-schooled students approved by the department can get it too. The school looks after the money for you. You must use it by the end of Term 3, at the first school your child goes to that year. Home-school and interstate boarding families claim the money back after buying from NT businesses.
This is a short summary. Other rules may apply, like income or where you live. Check the full rules with the agency that runs it.
