What you need to check
From 6 July 2026 the weekly cap dropped from $60 to $50 for 12 months. If you spend $50 to $400 a week on NSW tolls, you can claim back the part over $50, up to $350 a week for each toll tag and up to $5,000 a year. The car must be registered for private use. Tolls must be on your own personal toll account. Trips for work, or trips your boss pays you back for, do not count.
