What you need to check

The Safer Drivers Course helps learner drivers get ready to drive alone. There are 1,000 free places each year. You must be under 25 and have 50 hours in your log book, including some night driving. You also need a Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card from Centrelink. Young people who are or were in out-of-home care (foster or kinship care) can also get a free place.

This is a short summary. Other rules may apply, like income or where you live. Check the full rules with the agency that runs it.
