What you need to check

It applies in all NSW public hospital car parks where fees apply. You may qualify if you need treatment over a long time. You may also qualify if you go to hospital more than twice a week, or care for a long-term patient and visit often. People in financial hardship may also qualify. Full details are on the NSW Health website. To claim, go to the hospital’s administrative point before you leave the car park. Show your parking ticket, photo ID and your concession card, or ask for the concession rate. You can find hospitals with the NSW Public Hospital Parking, Services and Directions search tool.

This is a short summary. Other rules may apply, like income or where you live. Check the full rules with the agency that runs it.
