What you need to check

You get up to $180 off your power bill, or $198 if your power comes through your building. If you also get the Low Income Household Rebate, this rebate is $20 ($22 through your building). You must be named on the power account. You must have got Family Tax Benefit in 2025–26, lodged your tax return, and had Services Australia finalise it. Apply online with your finalisation letter, your Centrelink reference number and your power account details. Applications close 15 June 2027.

This is a short summary. Other rules may apply, like income or where you live. Check the full rules with the agency that runs it.
