What you need to check
You must live in NSW and be an Australian citizen or permanent resident. You must have a significant and permanent disability. Because of it, you cannot join in most community activities without a carer. You must need that level of care for life. Being eligible for the NDIS does not mean you meet these rules. To apply, choose "Apply now" on the Service NSW page, check what documents you need, then complete the online application.
