What you need to check
You must be a full-time higher education student who gets Youth Allowance or ABSTUDY. You usually must depend on your parents and need to live away from home to study. You must move to or from a regional or remote area (country area). Some independent students can also get it. You usually do not need to apply.
This is a short summary. Other rules may apply, like income or where you live. Check the full rules with the agency that runs it.
