What you need to check

This payment is for apprentices training in clean energy or housing construction. A full-time apprentice gets $2,000 at 6, 12, 24 and 36 months and when they finish, up to $10,000. A part-time apprentice gets $1,000 at each of those points, up to $5,000. Apprentices who started before 1 July 2025 keep the older New Energy Apprentice Support Payment instead. Ask an Apprentice Connect Australia Provider to check if you are eligible.

This is a short summary. Other rules may apply, like income or where you live. Check the full rules with the agency that runs it.
