What you need to check
You need a Veteran Gold Card or White Card. You must live at home and need help with daily tasks. It can include cleaning, help with showering and dressing, small home and garden jobs, and respite care to give carers a break. You pay $5 an hour, with weekly caps (for example $5 a week for cleaning). Respite care is free.
