What you need to check

Open Arms gives free and private counselling and wellbeing support. It is for anyone who has done at least one day of continuous full-time service in the Australian Defence Force (ADF), whether they serve now or left. Partners and children can use it too, and so can ex-partners who are co-parenting. Reservists can use it if they did full-time or hazardous service, disaster relief or border protection, or were in a serious training accident. If someone died in service, their parents and brothers and sisters may also get help. Call 1800 011 046 at any time.

This is a short summary. Other rules may apply, like income or where you live. Check the full rules with the agency that runs it.
