What you need to check

You must be Age Pension age (67) and not get a Centrelink or veterans’ income support payment. Your yearly taxable income must be under $105,048 if single or $168,076 for a couple (add $639.60 for each child). Some super income streams count. There is no assets test, so many people with savings but no pension can get it.

This is a short summary. Other rules may apply, like income or where you live. Check the full rules with the agency that runs it.
