What you need to check
Children aged 0 to 17 who can use Medicare may get this. They, or their family, must get an eligible payment, such as Family Tax Benefit Part A, at least once in the year. In 2026 the limit is $1,158 over two calendar years. The two years start on 1 January of the year your child first uses it. Older benefit periods may have a different limit. Check what is covered before treatment.
