What you need to check

You must be a permanent ACT resident. You must have a severe or profound limit on what you can do that stops you using public transport. You cannot be a member of a taxi scheme in another state. From 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2027 the most it pays is $31 a trip at the 50% level or $47.50 a trip at the 75% level. You pay the rest of the fare to the driver. You can take up to 854 trips a year, or fewer if you join part way through the year. Fill in the membership form. A doctor or occupational therapist completes Part B. Add a passport-size photo. Phone (02) 6207 0028 option 5 or email concessions@act.gov.au.

This is a short summary. Other rules may apply, like income or where you live. Check the full rules with the agency that runs it.
