What you need to check

This is for ACT home owners who live in the home. You need a Pensioner Concession Card, Veterans’ Affairs Gold Card or Health Care Card. You can get back half the cost of rooftop solar, up to $2,500. You can also get back half the cost of one other upgrade, up to $2,500. Examples are reverse cycle heating and cooling, a heat pump hot water system, an electric stove or ceiling insulation. You must first do a free online workshop. The land value of your home must be under a set limit. You can also get a loan with no interest, up to $10,000, for the rest of the cost.

This is a short summary. Other rules may apply, like income or where you live. Check the full rules with the agency that runs it.
