What you need to check

This is for people with a Pensioner Concession Card or a Veterans’ Affairs Gold Card. You pay no fee to get or renew a full, provisional or heavy vehicle licence. Learner, probationary and restricted licences are full price. Some job seekers can also get a discount. You need a Health Care Card marked JS and to be out of work for 6 months. You get 50% off a 1-year licence. With a good driving record for 5 years, it is 65% off.

This is a short summary. Other rules may apply, like income or where you live. Check the full rules with the agency that runs it.
