What you need to check

Most people with an aged pension or Health Care Card do not pay ACT ambulance fees. If you get a bill, send a copy of both sides of your card. The bill will then be cancelled. Veterans’ Affairs card holders contact DVA. Fees can also be waived in other cases. These include car crashes on ACT roads and students hurt at school. Victims of violence and people in money trouble may also qualify.

This is a short summary. Other rules may apply, like income or where you live. Check the full rules with the agency that runs it.
