## What you need to check

The card is for permanent residents living in Victoria. You must work less than 35 hours a week, or be retired. If you work more, you can get the Seniors Business Discount Card instead. Card holders get concession public transport fares and free weekend travel in any two zones next to each other. They also get free travel vouchers and business discounts, and do not need a fishing licence. You can apply about three weeks before you turn 60.

This is a short summary. Other rules may apply, like income or where you live. Check the full rules with the agency that runs it.
