## What you need to check

You must live in Tasmania and be 60 or older. You must work 20 hours a week or less, on average over a year. The card is free and does not expire. More than 600 businesses give discounts on products and services. Some discounts are offered interstate too. Apply with proof of identity. The card can take 28 days to arrive. If you give an email address, you get a digital card you can use straight away.

This is a short summary. Other rules may apply, like income or where you live. Check the full rules with the agency that runs it.
