## What you need to check

You can get it if you are 60 or older, or from 50 if you are Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander. You must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident living in SA. The card lets you travel free on Adelaide Metro buses, trains and trams at any time, and gives discounts at many businesses. Card holders can also ask their council to delay paying part of their council rates.

This is a short summary. Other rules may apply, like income or where you live. Check the full rules with the agency that runs it.
