## What you need to check

The Public Trustee of Queensland holds money that Queensland government agencies (like hospitals and schools) and businesses (like solicitors, real estate agents and companies) could not pay, plus unpaid State Award wages and money from estates. It does not hold bank accounts, life insurance, super or rental bonds. Search the online database by name (exact spelling; it is updated every Monday). Note the reference number. Fill in the claim form, have it witnessed by a Justice of the Peace, and post it with certified ID. Claims take about 28 days. Phone 07 3564 2757 for help.
