## What you need to check

For Queensland children aged 5 to 17. Vouchers have run out for families applying with a Medicare card only. Families with a Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card can apply with those card details, but the page does not say how many vouchers are left. A referral agent, such as school staff or a community health worker, can refer families in money trouble. One voucher per child each financial year, for registered activity providers only. Applications close 18 December 2026, or sooner if vouchers run out. Use the voucher by 18 June 2027. Apply through an Enquire account. You need your child’s Medicare card and your concession card details.

This is a short summary. Other rules may apply, like income or where you live. Check the full rules with the agency that runs it.
