## What you need to check

Logan City Council takes up to $481.20 a year off rates for full pensioners. Part pensioners get up to $240.60. Veteran Gold Card holders get the full amount. You must own the home (or be a life tenant) and live there. You need a Queensland Pensioner Concession Card or a Veteran Gold Card. The state also pays 20% of rates (up to $200 a year) and 20% of the emergency levy. It also gives up to $120 a year off water.
