## What you need to check

The ACT Public Trustee and Guardian holds unclaimed dividends and shares, money from real estate agents, lawyers and phone companies, and refunds people never received. Use the free online search form. If you find money, lodge a claim with two certified Australian ID documents and proof of address. Executors can claim for someone who has died. Payment can take up to 60 days. Phone 02 6207 9800.
