## What you need to check

Primary and high school students pay $1.29 a trip on school days and $1.71 on other days. Full-time university and CIT (Canberra’s TAFE) students pay $1.71 a trip. From 1 July 2026, tertiary students ride free for the rest of the month after 30 paid trips. Set up the student concession in your MyWay+ account or card, and always carry proof of your concession.
