## What you need to check

You must be 60 or older and a permanent resident living in the ACT. You must not work more than 20 hours a week in paid work. Some people waiting on an aged parent visa can apply too. The card gets you 10% off car registration for one vehicle and no sign-up fee for a green bin. It is posted to you within 15 business days.

This is a short summary. Other rules may apply, like income or where you live. Check the full rules with the agency that runs it.

OPA can go through the official form with you, one question at a time. You check each answer, and nothing is sent until you say yes.
