## What you need to check

The life support equipment must be electric and prescribed by an ACT doctor, such as a dialysis machine, oxygen machine, CPAP machine or nebuliser. The rebate is taken off your electricity bill a little each day. Only one rebate is paid per home. Your energy company decides if you qualify.

This is a short summary. Other rules may apply, like income or where you live. Check the full rules with the agency that runs it.

## About this source

This site blocks automatic checks. A person reviewed it on 5 Nov 2026.

Our automatic check only sees whether the page is there or has changed. It is not a check of the rules.

## How to apply

Ask your energy company how to apply. You need a letter from your doctor about the equipment. In a caravan park or retirement village network, phone the ACT Revenue Office on (02) 6207 0028.
