About unclaimd

# Support is out there. Finding it should be easy.

unclaimd is an independent website, and finding support on it is free. It helps people in Australia find government help they may be missing, like payments, vouchers and discounts on bills.

## Why it exists

Federal, state, territory and council governments each run their own help, on their own sites, with their own rules. Many people miss out because they never hear about a program. unclaimd brings it together, then sends you to the official page to check the rules and apply.

## Why we built it

unclaimd was built independently in Western Australia in 2026.

Government help is spread across many websites. Many people struggle to find it, and many more struggle to claim it: long forms, logins, and not knowing what to have ready. unclaimd puts that help in one place and helps with claiming too. Every listing links straight to the official place to apply, and for some listings we say how to claim, including by phone or post. There is help in other languages, and our Help page answers common questions.

## Who runs it

unclaimd is independent. It is not a government website. No government agency runs it or backs it. Each program is run by the agency named on its listing. Only that agency can decide if you get it.

Our [privacy notice](https://unclaimd.org/privacy/) explains how we handle your information and how to contact us.

## How it is paid for

**Finding support is free.** Searching, matching, saving and alerts cost nothing. There are no ads, and we do not sell your information. We count totals, never who you are: for example, how many people finish the finder. [What we count](https://unclaimd.org/privacy/)

For now, unclaimd is self-funded.

Our [terms](https://unclaimd.org/terms/) explain the rules.

## What we promise

- Every listing links to an official government page and shows when we last checked it.
- A match is a lead to check. It is not a decision about what you can get.
- We never ask for card numbers, reference numbers, bank details or ID documents.
- We have not listed every program yet. We say so wherever it matters.

unclaimd lists possible matches and leads to check, not eligibility decisions. Only the government agency decides. Check the rules and apply on the official government site.
